Question:
I just received and installed my T-One #118301. My trailer lights arent working at all. All truck lights work with the truck harness. When I unplug the truck harness and install the T-One, the truck lights still work, so I know current is flowing through the T one, but I have no trailer lights. Trailer lights work with a 4 pin flat plug going directly to the battery, so all trailer wiring should be good, but no lights with the T-One. I dont feel the T one is defective because my Hopkins T connector isnt working either. Any ideas why truck lights work, but no trailer lights with t harness installed? thanks

I am sorry to hear that you are having issues getting a functioning 4-way connector harness on your 2005 Chevrolet Colorado.
I recommend using a circuit tester like # PTW2993 to check the wires going into the the module for power. If these wires have power but you have no power to the 4-way connector wires the module is bad and the harness will need to be replaced.
If you do not have power to these wires then you will need to remove the harness and check the connectors on both the harness and vehicle for any bent pins, debris, or corrosion that could be causing the connection issue.
Let me know what you find and we can go into more in-depth troubleshooting if needed.
I included a video of the # 118301 being installed in a similar 2008 Chevrolet Colorado for you to take a look at.
