Replacement Strap Hinges for an Aluma Trailer with Ramp

Question:
HI-i have an Aluma trailer and the hinges have bound making it difficult to use. I would like to get replacement hinges. I currently cant find anything from Aluma dealers. The trailer is an enclosed one with a large fold down back door that turns into the ramp. There is also a side man door to access the front of the trailer that is located on the side. The model number is AE7125, we purchased it in 2005 or so. The VIN is XXXX I will enclose a couple of photos of the current hinges that we need to replace. The hinges on the bottom of the big door at the back are about 10 inches long and the side door hinges are about 8 inches long. Both have to go over a seal/joint. Thanks in advance.

Hey Alison, thanks for reaching out!
I looked through our whole selection of hinges but none of them match the exact design that you all already have on your Aluma trailer. What I recommend doing is using a whole different strap since you're struggling to find the correct design. We have the Polar Hardware Strap # PLR2212-AS which is a little longer at 12" than what you currently have, but I believe the bend in the strap will be enough to accommodate both your ramp door and your side door.

Hey Alison, how did the Polar Hardware strap hinge work out on your Aluma trailer doors? Knowing how the fit turned out could really help others trying to replace older Aluma hinges.
