In order to connect the lights on your trailer to your vehicle you will require a wiring harness. If you do not have LED tail lights, I recommend the # 119250KIT ZCI Circuit Protected Vehicle Wiring Harness w/ 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector and Installation Kit. This wiring harness is a universal fit and will allow you to control the signal lights on your trailer.
If you do have LED taillights, I recommend the # 118538 T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector. This is a custom fit part for your 2015 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport. This kit connects quickly and easily plugging in to the connection points behind your tail lights.
I see that you were also looking at hitches for your Outlander Sport. I recommend the # e63AR etrailer hitch. This hitch is also a custom fit for your 2015 Outlander Sport with 3,500 lbs max towing weight and 350 lbs tongue weight.
