Question:
I recently picked up a ez loader trailer. It uses 205/75/14 tires. Can I upgrade to a 205/75/15? Also, is 4.5 inches standard on a 205/75/14 tire ?

Expert Reply:
In order to upgrade from 205/75-14 to 205/75-15 tires you'll need to account for an extra 1/2" in height. We recommend at least 3" from the top of the tire to the bottom of the fender. If you do have space, I recommend the Karrier ST205/75R15 Radial Trailer Tire with 15" Galvanized Wheel part # AM32397 which has a radial ply tire better for highway driving and galvanized wheels for use in water. The standard bolt pattern is indeed 5 on 4-1/2".
