7-Way Round Commercial Vehicle End Connector To 7-Way Blade Trailer Connection

Question:

i have an international dump truck with a 7 pin round that i need to hook up to a trailer that has a 7 pin flat blade. i have spent 3 days trying to figure this out with no luck. can you provide some kind of diagram?

If you are looking for a temporary solution the Trailer Connector Adapter # HM47425 is the simplest solution. You can plug it into your International dump truck and have the 7-way blade connector available.

If you are looking to add a more permanent 7-way blade onto your International the Tow Ready 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Pigtail Wiring Harness # 20024 includes 6 wire taps and a grounding eyelet to allow you to wire in a 2nd connector. The harness is 4' long to allow you to mount it where it is convenient from your other 7-way round plug.

I have attached an image below that shows where each wire is for both types of connectors. Do not pay attention to wire colors as they are often different from manufacturer to manufacturer. Instead look at where the connections are on the 7-way to ensure it is in the correct place.
