Is Mighty Cord 50 Amp Male Plug A10-P50VP Durable

Question:
Recently picked up the Camco Power Grip Replacement plug 50 amp # 55255 for $20 and it was the only product I could find until I discovered yours. Question is, the Camco product has a similar shape and look of my plug but when you hold it, its just an injected molded 2 pieces that is screwed together and has no weight, substance or durability to it. If it accidently ped out of my power cord bin and hit a large rock, its very possibly it might crack the casing. I would only use the Camco product as a back up, until I could get a solid product to replace it. Is your product got guts, some weight to it, is it a substantial piece A10-P50 VP if it accidently hits the ground will the casing crack?? The current OEM one I have in my diesel pusher, my wife has the ability to toss it to me and if it hits the ground, no big deal. As newbie RVers, we traveled 7000 miles over 60 days last summer and maybe the plug touched the ground 6 times. I think the damage to the plug occurred when I had in in for service twice this winter, and I think the mechanics just yanked the cord out and they damaged it. But I didnt notice the damage until 5 months later when we went on a 4 day excursion to evaluate the AC repairs and some other repairs we had done during servicing it. Patiently awaiting your info on the durability of this plug. Thanking you in advance for your response to my issues. Thanks

The Mighty Cord Replacement Hardwire RV Plug part # A10-P50VP is a really solid connector. We've sold several and have had very solid feedback on it from our customers. It's not a really heavy connector but it is a durable connector that would work great for you.
