Question:
I have a tiffin allegro bus 2020 37AP model. On my power cord the wires have come out of the sleeve as you can see in the photo. Am I ok to buy a replacement plug vs the whole cable? What would you recommend
asked by: Bill P
Expert Reply:
The sleeve or sheathing is part of the cord, not the plug so even if you were to just replace the plug using something like the Mighty Cord Replacement Hardwire RV Plug part # A10-P50VP you would still have exposed wires. Therefore, it would be best if you replace the entire power cord using the Mighty Cord RV Power Cord part # A10-5036EDBK which will offer much better protection as a sealed unit.
