Do Jaws of B and W Companion Hitch Head Require Adjustment

Are the jaws automatic or do they need tightening, I have clicking sound at start and stop motion

The jaws of the B and W Replacement Head part # BWRVC3006 are not adjustable and they do not require tightening. It's a little annoying but most hitches have a little bit of movement which makes that clicking sound you mentioned.
