An A-Frame jack will need to lift 10-15% of your trailer's gross weight. Your 1997 Jayco Eagle 31ft Travel Trailer has dry weight of around 8000lbs so you would need at least 1,200lbs of weight capacity. Since you're going to be loading things into your camper and weighing it down more I recommend the Electric Jack w/ Footplate - Drop Leg - A-Frame - 25-1/8" Lift - 3,500lbs - White Item # EJ-3520-WBX.
