For taillight kits for the 24x60 Reese Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches # 63153, I recommend the Light Kit for Draw-Tite, Tow Ready, and Rola Railed Cargo Carriers # 20174. On the Reese cargo carrier # 63153, the tighter mesh floor is not large enough for the plug to pass through. Therefore run the wire leads under the platform to the lights, then up the front of the carrier and around to the back of the light. This also helps prevent the wires from getting pinched by the cargo. On vehicles where the 4-pole trailer connector is tucked under the vehicle, a 4-pole extension may be required to connect the two plugs.
If you need a 4-pole extension, I recommend the 12" Car and Trailer End Loop # 9653P. If your 2021 Toyota Tacoma needs a wiring harness, I recommend the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C56349.
