Question:
The previous owner never had to use trailer as he had a boat lift. We took the boat out for the first time and it is next to impossible to get the boat just right so that it will set down perfect on just two carpet covered boat rails and this time there was no wind. I had to recruit two people, one for each side while I handled the winch strap, and my wife drove. I dont know if the rails are best or if the pvc lighted guides are strong enough to guide the boat. Help would be appreciated to know which product to order.

Since your 2009 20' Hurricane boat caused so much of a headache to load on your Roadrunner boat trailer I recommend the CE Smith Roller-Style Guide-Ons for Boat Trailers - 21" Tall - 1 Pair # CE27610 you were looking at over PVC guide-ons.
The # CE27610 will keep your boat straight while getting it loaded on the trailer via the rollers, where the PVC guide-ons like the # CE27648 you were looking at are only to tell you where your submerged trailer is and will not physically guide the boat on.
I included a video of the # CE27610 for you to take a look at.
