Will There be Play For Curt Pop-In Ball on 2020 GMC Sierra 3500 With OEM Puck System

Question:
Hi I bought this goose ball for my GMC 2020 Sierra Denali Dually with the puck system it fits but it does have room to wiggle around after it locked in place. Is that normal or it’s supposed to be no room to spare for movement? Thank you!

Thank you very much for your purchase from etrailer of the Curt Pop-In Ball for Factory Chevy/GM, Ford, and Nissan Underbed Gooseneck Hitches - 2-5/16" # C60629.
There will be some play in the ball when installed in your 2020 GMC Sierra 3500; it shouldn't be much though, about 1/16" of play between the ball and the bed is considered normal.
