Yes the two parts are indeed the same; the 13742 is the same as the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C22HR.

The part # C22HR is simply our part number for this hitch, but is the same and is a confirmed fit for your 2022 Acura MDX. This is a really nice option for a hitch for your MDX with a super easy installation; you'll only have to lower your spare tire, lift the hitch into position and bolt it on, then raise your spare tire back up again and that's that.
