Can 30 Amp Portable Power Watchdog Surge Protector Be Used On 50 Amp Trailer

Question:

Can you use a 30amp adapter on a 50 amp surge protector? I have a 50 amp trailer but often only use a 30 amp power cord. But some rv parks only have 50 amp service. the reason for using the 30 amp cord is so I dont have to lug around the heavy ass 50 anp cord

I don't recommend using a 30 amp surge protector on a 50 amp trailer. This would require adapters and will limit power going to the trailer. Instead, for a 50 amp trailer, you'll need to use the Portable Power Watchdog Surge Protector with Bluetooth part # HU47FR.
