Recommended Air Helper Spring Kit For 2015 Ford F-150 4WD W/ Factory Rear Lift Block Removed

Updated 06/03/2021 | Published 06/02/2021

Question:

Hello, I want to get the air level 5000 but need to check that since I’ve removed the rear blocks on my 2015 f150 4x4, it won’t cause any issues or need for installation adjustments. Thanks.

I have a few options for you, but since you removed the rear factory lift blocks from your 2015 Ford F-150 4WD the Air Lift Load Lifter 5000 Air Helper Spring Kit # AL88385 you were looking at will not work as they were designed to work with the factory suspension.

Instead you will need to use the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs - Double Convoluted - Rear Axle # F2582 which bolts to the leaf spring so having the block removed will not affect anything.

This kit has a 4800lb load leveling capacity which is adjustable between 5-100 PSI to fine tune the support needed to level your truck when towing a trailer or carrying a heavy payload.

To keep yourself from having to manually inflate the helper springs each time you are ready to tow or carry a heavy payload I recommend adding an on-board air compressor kit like Air Command Compressor System w/ Light Duty Compressor - Wireless - Smartphone Enabled - Single Path # F2610 which will allow you to adjust the air pressure in the helper springs from your smart phone.

I included videos of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.
