What Replacement Straps Do I Need for the Thule Bike Rack on My Subaru?

Question:
Last year I purchased a Thule bike rack from Subaru. I believe that the equivalent model is the Helium aero 2. My rack has rubber straps. Any idea if the newer ratchet straps will work on my rack? The rubber straps are awful in cold weather. Thanks,

I confirmed with Thule that the rack that you purchased from Subaru does have the same straps as the Thule Helium Aero 2. The newer straps can be used interchangeably with the older ones. For new replacement straps for your rack, I recommend the Replacement Strap for Cradles on Thule Bike Racks # 852-3006-001.
