How To Use Progressive Dynamics Mighty Mini AC/DC Panel And Converter PD4045KA With Gel Battery

Question:

Im looking at the batterie type switch for my panel and notice it has prongs that say: off = lead acid, and on = gel im wondering if I need to put the fuse on that instead of the WIZ if using gel? or if I need an additional fuse for the gel prongs. See pics.

I talked to my contact at Progressive Dynamics regarding the Progressive Dynamics Mighty Mini AC/DC Panel and Converter/Smart Charger - 45 Amp # PD4045KA. If you are using this with an AGM battery then you don't need to do anything else and you are all set. However, if you are using this with a true gel battery then Progressive Dynamics recommends you get in contact with them to go about this.
