The TorkLift Cannon Hitch Extension # TLE1642 is designed to work with trucks that have a 3" factory cross bar style trailer hitch receiver. To my knowledge I have only ever seen those on the 2017 and newer Ford F-350's.
I believe that your 2020 Ram 3500 has a 2-1/2" receiver from the factory. If that is the case you will need to replace your hitch with the TorkLift SuperHitch Magnum Trailer Hitch Receiver # TLD1111-30. Then you will be able to use the TorkLift SuperTruss Hitch Extension # TLE1542 with your Ram 3500.
