Can you tell me if additional wiring harness/adapter is need with this product? I have a 2013 Toyota Tundra Limited... Part number is: Curt Spectrum Trailer Brake Controller - 1 to 4 Axles - Proportional - Dash Mount Item # C51170 If so what adapter is required? TX

To install the Curt Spectrum Trailer Brake Controller # C51170 in your 2013 Toyota Tundra you will require one of two wiring harnesses.
First the Curt Custom Wiring Adapter # C51362 will allow you to plug directly into the wiring port on your Tundra if your truck came with the factory tow package. This white connector is located just above the kick panel on the drivers side below the dashboard.
If you do not have the factory tow harness the Universal Wiring Adapter # C51515 will allow you to connect to an aftermarket 7-way such as our Universal Installation Kit # ETBC7.
