Does Trunk Mounted 2-Bike Carrier Allow Trunk Access On 2021 Toyota RAV4?

Question:

Im considering buying this for an upcoming camping trip in my 2021 Toyota Rav4. Im not the best at installing things like this so my request is two-fold: Point me to your best installation video., Can you open the rear hatch once the rack is installed or do you have to remove every time you want access? Thanks!

All trunk-mounted bike racks, including the Yakima Full Back 2 Bike # Y02634, prevent access to the trunk when installed on a vehicle. This is mainly due to the fact that vehicle trunk/hatch supports are not made heavy duty enough to withstand the excess weight of the bike rack and/or bikes. The bike rack itself is also not designed to carry bikes in that position so I do not recommend trying to do so.

This carrier is very easy to install and use! The straps simply clip around your vehicle's trunk and then you lock the bikes into their cradles.
