According to the instruction for the Air Lift 1000 Air Helper Springs # AL60774 on your 2017 Nissan Murano, there is no step listed for removing the bump stop.
This air bag works differently in that it is not providing vertical support like most other. Instead it uses horizontal pressure to push itself into the gaps in the coil springs, thus increasing the amount of force necessary to compress the spring.
I recommend the Air Lift WirelessAIR Compressor System # AL74000EZ to allow you to wirelessly adjust the air pressure in the bags while you are driving. You will be able to control the system from either the wireless controller or your smart phone. The compressor will keep the air bags filled within 3psi of your setting automatically while you drive.
