I am looking for a replacement coupler with drum brakes for my shorelandr trailer R1928/31.

As long as your 2000 Shoreland'r R1928/31 Boat Trailer has a 3" wide channel tongue I recommend the Titan Zinc-Plated Brake Actuator - Drum - Multi-Fit Ball - Bolt On - 7,000 lbs # T43397007K which will bolt on to the frame of your trailer, and will work perfectly with your drum brakes.
The # T43397007K has a 7000lb trailer weight rating and works with 1-7/8", 2", and 50mm hitch balls.
