How to Determine if Electric 5th Wheel Landing Gear Will Fit Trailer

Question:

Will this fit? My current single-motor front landing gear set has failed. The gear crank shaft into the follow-leg that the cross-bar connects to has sheared off. The original equipment landing gear has always seemed inadequate. Even with 6000 lbs. of lift force it seemed to struggle and blew a lot of fuses. I am looking for a replacement and was considering this set if it will fit my rig. Any suggestions are appreciated.

The Reese landing gear will almost certainly fit your Open Range 345RLS, though there aren't specific fits on trailers for this landing gear, which is the following part number:

I can tell you how to determine a fit though, and I say it will almost certainly fit because this landing gear has standard weld stop measurements that are 15-1/2" from inside to inside of its weld stops and 17-1/2" from outside to outside So if you measure your current landing gear's weld stops and get the same measurements, the # LC333964 will fit.
