Question:
The operator mechanism for my maxxair 4500K roof vent is shattered. I have added one to my cart. When I hit the open button the motor rotates 15 times to open the vent lid and when I hit close it rotates 15 times to close the vent lid. I believe that the amount of rotations is way too much and contributed to the shattered operator mechanism. Is this a problem that would be solved by purchasing a new circuit board? If so which circuit board is correct for my model? Thank you!

Expert Reply:
You do need a new circuit board for your Maxxair roof vent 4500k which for that you'd need the part # MA10A21275K and you'd be set. This will prevent the new operator part # MA10-20281K-1AF from getting damaged as well.
