Question:
Lights come back on on their own long after I turn them off. Switch back on they get brighter. Turn off they go off but repeat and come back on.... what is my issue??

It sounds like there is corrosion building up on the contacts of the lights switch on your Lippert Electric Trailer Jack # LC285318 allowing power to bypass the switch even when it is turned off.
I recommend removing the top cover by removing the phillips head screws and checking for any corrosion on the switch. If there is corrosion clean it up with a scotch brite and re install the cover.
If the issue is still there then I recommend replacing the switch. Lippert no longer sells the on/off switch by itself so you will need the # LC285160 which includes a new top cover and two new switches.
