Question:

I have a 2021 gmc crew with the 6-10 inch bed. I have the factory gooseneck puck system installed..the ball is at least 2 inches behind the axle and so my current demo which hooks to the ball is offset 3 more inches back. I want to go to this hitch if the hook point is further forward. is the hook point centered between the fore and aft pucks ? forward? or back? thanks

I think what you are trying to ask is where in the fore/aft of the bed will the jaw and pivot point of this hitch set, for purpose of will it work with your short bed truck. The Demco Hijacker UMS Double Pivot 5th Wheel Hitch, # DM37VR is a confirmed fit for the 2021 GMC Sierra 2500 with an 8 foot bed. This is not for the 6-3/4 Foot Bed unless you change your pin box to something like the Reese Sidewinder 5th Wheel King Pin with Rotating Turret part # RP34FR.

For a short bed truck you will need a different setup than for an 8 foot bed. My preferred option is a slider type hitch such as the B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Hitch w/ Slider for Chevy/GMC Towing Prep Package - Dual Jaw - 20K, # BWRVK3775.
