Hi, How can you ensure that Hopkins Endurance Easy-Pull 4-Pole Flat Extension - Vehicle and Trailer Ends - LED Tester - 12inch generates a load of min. 5 Watts. There is no info in the technical sheet. Do you have another tester that generates 5 Watts load? Thank you

I reached out to Hopkins and since the Hopkins Endurance Easy-Pull 4-Pole Flat Extension - Vehicle and Trailer Ends - LED Tester - 12" # HM48148 LED lights it will not have the 5-watt draw needed to activate the trailer light circuit in your 2013 Volkswagen Tiguan.

Instead I recommend the # 40376 which my contact at Tow-Ready confirmed will pull more than 5 watts, and will be just what you are needing to test your 4-way connector.
