Is The Yakima Skybox 16 Roof Box Compatible With Thule Aero Crossbars?
Updated 05/03/2021 | Published 05/01/2021 >
Question:
I tried to mount a Yakima Skybox NX 16 to my Thule aerowing bars, which are within the listed max bar dimensions, but the clamp didn’t completely close around the bar. Is that still ok as long as it’s fully tensioned down?

The Yakima Skybox NX 16 # Y95AV is compatible with Thule Aero crossbars. This box fits various crossbar styles so it may not have a perfect fit in every application. I confirmed with Yakima that as long as the clamps are tight around the bar then you are good to go.
