Question:
Thanks for replying to my question, and I’m definitely going to consider the Yakima box you recommend. It seems like a better fit! I just have one more question, do you have any roof cargo box that could fit 178 cm skis on a 2012 Honda CR-V without having the hatch hit? I just want to make sure I pick the best option and I don’t know much about the other brands! Thank you again for being so helpful!

Thule Pulse Large Rooftop Cargo Box - 16 cu ft - Matte Black # TH615 is a fit for your 2013 Honda CR-V, but as you see in the video there will be a slight contact with your rear hatch when accessing the cargo area.
The Thule Force Xt # TH6358B will overlap your rear hatch even farther which is even more limiting your cargo area access. For a Thule fit that will give you the most cargo space and won't hinder your cargo access, the Thule Force XT Sport Rooftop Cargo Box - 11 cu ft - Black AeroSkin # TH6356B is your best option. This box is the best fit Thule has for your vehicle and is a great option.
If you are open to a Yakima box option, my recommendation for your 2012 Honda CR-V is the Yakima RocketBox Pro 14 Rooftop Cargo Box # Y07192 which not only will allow you to completely access your hatch and load from both sides, but also will allow you another cubic foot of storage.
