Question:
How can I wire new running light with one wire to the two old wires coming out of body into old light bulb.

Expert Reply:
On lights similar to the Optronics LED Trailer Clearance and Side Marker Light # MCL44AB1 that will only have 1 wire pigtail this is the positive power wire. The light requires mounting to a grounded metal surface that will provide you the ground connection. If you are not able to attach it to a grounded metal surface you can also use a jumper Wire # DW02359-1 with a Ring Terminal # DW05737-1 to attach to your existing wiring or a nearby grounded surface.
There are some lights similar to the Optronics LED Trailer Clearance and Side Marker Light # MCL44AB that will use 2 wires to connect to the wiring as well that you may prefer to use as you already have the 2 wires available.
