Question:

The hitch is located center of rear axle. Looking to get more clearance for turning my jaco 23.5 rbs j lite fifth wheel trailer currently I have 27” from my hitch to the inside cab direction of my box I would like to get 40” with a offset hitch adapter or convert it to straight gooseneck. The hitch is a Reese 10k revolution vhd-10k22sw

I may have an option for you, but the Ranch Hitch Universal 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Coupler Adapter w/8" Offset for Short-Bed Trucks # AM3139 you were looking at will only give you a total of 8" offset. Combined with your orginal 27" of clearance this will only bring you to 35" which is a bit short of the 40" of clearance you were looking for. Besides using your Reese Revolution as designed with a 5th wheel hitch, this will be your best option.

If you choose to go this route I recommend taking the truck and trailer to an empty parking lot with a friend and have them check your cab to trailer clearance while you make turns so you can get comfortable with the limits of your setup.

You will also need the # AM3103 to install the 5th wheel to gooseneck adapter.

To use the # AM3139 with the 10k Reese Revolution on your Jayco 23.5 RBS J Lite 5th wheel trailer you will need to lock the pin box out as shown in the included diagram.
