Question:
I have a 2005 Toyota Tundra V8 single cab with 8foot bed. To my knowledge, its not a TRD model. Will the firestone 2245 kit fit? It has LT245/75R16 tires.

Expert Reply:
The Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs - Double Convoluted - Rear Axle # F2245 you were looking at is confirmed to fit all models of the 2005 Toyota Tundra including the TRD model, so it will absolutely fit your 2005 Toyota Tundra V8 Single cab with the 8' Bed.
The # F2245 offers up to 4800lbs of load leveling support to your rear suspension to prevent sag when towing a trailer or carrying a heavy payload, but will not fit in your truck if you have a 5th wheel or gooseneck hitch installed as they install in the same location.
To keep from having to manually air up the # F2245 each time you are ready to tow or carry a heavy payload I recommend adding an on-board air compressor kit # F2610 which will allow you to adjust the air pressure in the air bags from your smart phone.
I included videos for both of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.
