Troubleshooting MaxxFan Plus Roof Vent

Question:

Fan will work and then it wont turn on or open

Expert Reply:

Check your power source, ensure you have voltage to your MaxxFan, MA00-04000K. Use a voltmeter to ensure your battery is delivering the required voltage (no less than 11-volts). If this is a new install please verify that you connected wiring correctly, incorrect polarity will cause problems. Make sure the white wire is grounded and the black wire is connected to your 12V power source of at least 5-amps.
