Depth of SolidStep Manual Fold-Down Steps

Question:
what is the depth and height when the steps are placed up in the locked position inside the trailer? Im only asking because when you get inside our door it has an angled wall and I want to make sure we have enough room to store it inside the door. I hope that makes sense?

The unit itself is about 10-1/2" in depth when in the upright position. How that translates to depth inside the RV is dependent on installation. This mounts to the threshold of doorway with slight adjustment available. If you set further back on threshold, you will be set deeper than the 10-1/2".
Please note the attached product review and installation videos.
