Question:
I have a 2002 Winnebago Adventurer 32v on the Ford Chassis. GVWR is listed as 20,500. Tires are brand new this year. My #1 complaint about the ride quality is the harshness. Road potholes, bridge joints or pavement expansion joints. It feels like the chassis transmits every crack and bump. On smooth roads it drives fine and I dont mind the sway or that little bit of push I get when being passed by a semi. But every bump resonates through the coach. Would sumo springs be the way to go? Anything to help smooth out the ride. #2 complaint would be the steering feels a bit loose at times so Im thinking a roadmaster steering stabilizer would help that out. Thanks!

Expert Reply:
The SumoSprings Maxim Custom Helper Springs part # SSR-181-54-1 for the rear and the SumoSprings Rebel Custom Helper Springs part # SSF-172-40-2 for the front are an excellent option for a 2002 Winnebago Adventurer. They have many benefits and softening the ride is one of them. They are essentially a rubber spring placed between the axle and frame so all road shock has to go through the springs first.
In regards to a steering stabilizer, the correct one is the Roadmaster Reflex Steering Stabilizer part # RM-RBK22-RSSA. This will not only help to tighten the steering but it will also help returning to center.
