The Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System # TDR3500CA referenced in your question is confirmed to fit your 2016 Ram 3500.
When the springs are installed, there should be about a 1/2 inch to 1-1/2 inch gap between it and the contact point when the truck is empty. If you find that the spring is almost or is touching the axle, Timbren recommends that you simply remove the rubber spacer that was supplied. If you have already done this, I recommend taking the truck out for a test drive to see how everything handles. Often if the truck has even a partial load, or possibly an older suspension, the rubber spring may be in constant contact with the axle without a drop-off in ride quality, and this is perfectly normal.
I have attached a short video demonstration on this system that you can also take a look at.
