Progressive Dynamics RV Power Control Center and Solar

Question:
Why is there no way to stop the converter from charging batteries while running on solar and an inverter? This doesnt seem like a good setup. If there is something that I have missed I would love to know how or where the disconnect is so that I do not have the charge loop happening while running my inverter/solar for power. I dont have a choice since the 5th wheel has a residential fridge. Pretty sure this is the unit in my 5th wheel: PD4590K18LS8

If you are connected to shore power then the Progressive Dynamics RV Power Control Center with AC/DC Panel and Converter/Smart Charger, # PD4590K18LS8, will as designed apply a charge to your connected battery pack. If you are not on shore power but have solar panels then the charge to your battery bank should be coming from your solar panel charge controller not the Progressive Dynamics RV Power Control Center.
Without seeing a wiring diagram of your particular arrangement it is challenging for me to get a visual.
Please note the attached review and installation videos and let us know further how we can assist.
