Hello James,
For your 1990 Lance Squire with the Magnetek Series 6300A Model 6325, I think the WFCO Auto Detect RV Converter and AC/DC Distribution Panel # WF36FR is a solid choice for a replacement.
Your original Magnetek is a 25-amp power center, and I like sticking with a 25-amp replacement since we know that setup has been working well for your camper. As far as wiring goes, I would expect the existing wire sizes to remain appropriate since both units are 25-amp power centers.
One feature that really stands out on the # WF36FR is the auto-detect charging capability. If you're using an AGM battery now and decide to switch to lithium later, or vice versa, the converter can automatically recognize the battery type and adjust its charging profile accordingly.
I wouldn't expect the physical size and mounting arrangement to be exactly the same as your original Magnetek. You're replacing a power center that is more than 30 years old, so there may be some minor differences during installation. One tip that can make the swap much easier is to use small pieces of painter's tape to label each wire as you remove it from the old converter. It only takes a few extra minutes and can save a lot of time when it's time to reconnect everything.
One thing I'm curious about is why you're replacing the entire power center. What exactly quit working on the original Magnetek? Is it no longer charging the battery, are you having issues with the 12-volt system, or is there another problem you're trying to solve?
