Question:
Hi I was wondering if I could buy a 3.00foot ID instead of the 2.75foot mounting flange at you store. I currently have 12" brakes. Looks to me that your mounting flange could easily be welded to the shaft and maybe even the existing backing plate if I cut some portion off. I need 4 for my old 1978 mobile home converted trailer.

We do have one brake flange that would work for your trailer that would allow you to use 12" brakes which is the Trailer Brake Mounting Flange # 4-50 which has an inside diameter of 3" and uses Dexter Electric Trailer Brake Kit - Self-Adjusting - 12" - Left Hand and Right Hand - 8K # K23-532-533-00.
Keep in mind that brake mounting flanges need to be welded on by an axle shop as the flange needs to be perfectly square with the axle or you will have issues with the brakes wearing unevenly.
I included videos for both of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.
