Will NCTP100 iN-Command TPMS System Alert to A Trailer Tire Blowout
Updated 04/07/2021 | Published 04/06/2021 >
Question:
If I have a blowout, and lose the sensor, because the valve stem pops off, how long before I would know? This has happened with another TPMS, I dont know if I had a blowout first or if the valve stem popped off and the tire shredded from a lack of air. FYI. I have a 28foot fifth wheel and I have to say people in Kansas City are really nice, I was flagged down and I had multiple people offer assistance in changing the tire. Im interested in this device because my dog freaks out at the alarm beepers in the other devices, and from the video, it appears the warnings on this device would not cause the dog to freak out.

The # NCTP100 iN-Command TPMS system would alert you immediately once the pressure or temperature in any of the sensor-equipped tires deviates from the parameters you've programmed into the system. A blowout would cause a quick decrease in tire pressure (as would the valve stem being blown off) which would trigger an alert. The system has several choices for alarm tones, so you should be able to choose one that doesn't make your dog uncomfortable. I've linked to a demonstration video featuring the iN-Command TPMS system.
