Instead, you will want to go with RoadActive Suspension Custom Leaf Spring Enhancement Kit # RAS4611. This is rated for 2,000lbs which is the same capacity of the kit you mentioned.
This system will do a great job of reducing vehicle sag and trailer sway. It also greatly improves the overall handling and braking of your vehicle since the kit levels out your vehicle, allowing for all 4 tires of your truck to have the necessary traction for pulling. I attached an installation video for you to check out; the video shows this kit being installed on a newer model Silverado but it will be a very similar process on your truck as well.
