Could you recommend the best Lockrack model for this kayak? perception rambler-135t I will also need cross bars for my 2016 Nissan Rogue with factory installed side rails and moon roof. Is there a certain model that would work best with the Lockrack? Thank you! Suzanne

For a roof rack that will fit your 2016 Nissan Rogue with factory roof rails, I would go with the Malone AirFlow2 Roof Rack - Aero Crossbars - Raised, Factory Side Rails - Aluminum - 50" Long # MPG215. These crossbars measure 50" long and feature the common T-slot track which allows for track-mounted accessories to be easily installed. This system simply clamps onto your factory raised rails and provides a nice mounting area for a kayak carrier. Integrated locks will secure the crossbars to your roof and deter theft.

Now that you have the roof rack, you can look into a kayak carrier. I really like the Lockrack Adjustable XL Watersport Carrier # LR54FR. This is a very versatile carrier that can either clamp onto a roof rack or install onto the roof rack via the T-slot track. Since the Malone crossbars are 3" wide and the Lockrack clamps likely won't fit it, you will need to utilize the T-slot track on the Malone crossbars and use the T-slot hardware that is included with the Lockrack kayak carrier.
