Question:
Hello, I bought a DYI Tear , I hate the tires on it. I would like them to be bigger, however I am not sure if I can go bigger. Could you please let me if I could go bigger? The tires read on the side 4/80/4.00-8, thank you!

I would first recommend that you check to see how much clearance your current tires have. This will help you determine if you can fit any larger tires without modifying the fenders or suspension. I like to have at least 1" of clearance throughout the suspension travel. I have included measurements for your tires below with a couple options to allow you to see what is available that may require little to no modification.
4.80/4.00-8 # AM30040
-Width- 4.7"
-Height- 16.1"
5.70-8 # AM10010
-Width- 5.8"
-Height- 18.1"
4.80-12 # AM30550
-Width- 4.8"
-Height- 20.5"
The easiest ways to modify your trailer for larger tires are to relocate the fenders or possibly an axle flip if your current axle sits on top of the leaf springs rather than under them.
