Question:

How tall is the post? I’m wanting to use it to place a backup camera on. Is there another similar product that is extendable to various lengths?

The Mounting Post for Stromberg Carlson Extend-A-Line RV Mounted Drying Racks - Square Bumper or A-Frame # CL-01 you were looking at is 44" long as shown in the included diagram.

While not designed to be used with a backup camera, it will give you a solid mounting point to secure the camera to and will fit around standard 4" x 4" RV bumpers.

This would be your best option as we do not offer an adjustable height post that secures to the bumper of your RV.
