Can the Replacement Velcro Shur-Bond Fastener for TruXedo Deuce Tonneau Covers Be Trimmed

Question:
I recently purchased a 2011 Chevy Silverado 4 door with short box. It has a Truxedo cover that will not stay down in windy situation. Would part TX1117786 be able to be trimmed if it is too long? or is there a better part to purchase?

Yes, the Replacement Velcro Shur-Bond Fastener for TruXedo Deuce Tonneau Covers for 6' Beds part # TX1117786 ca be trimmed, just make sure to do so at the end opposite of the cutout.
