Question:
Hello, Im looking to install a Redarc Tow Pro Liberty brake controller into my 2011 Chevy Traverse with car-specific adapter. Do i need to add diodes to the controller to prevent feedback into the controller? Thanks

If your Traverse has the factory 7-way, the only other part you'll need in addition to the # RED24FR Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty brake controller is the # RED27FR vehicle specific wiring harness that will join the control box to the factory brake controller connector under the dash. The connector is located under the dash between the e-brake pedal and steering column, as shown in the provided photo and at the 3:25 mark in the linked video.
According to Redarc, a diode isn't necessary.
You can mount the control knob in an un-used switch knockout on the dash, if there isn't one available, you can use a mounting bezel like # 331-TPSI-001 to dress up the appearance if you wish.
