Updated 03/12/2021 | Published 03/09/2021 >
Question:
Hi I just bought a forest River Flagstaff with Alko 4000 lb axles x2 Can you let me know what grease seal I will need to do a bearing repack? I did have a Trailer with similar alko axles but were rated for 6000LBs and the seals I used were 5200-7000 lb axles seals Just wondering if you can send me specs and part numbers

I would be happy to help you find the correct grease seals for the two 4000lb AL-KO axles on your Forest River Flagstaff, but unfortunately we do not have a break down of components used by a specific trailer.
Instead you will need to remove one of your hubs and use digital calipers like # PTW80157 to precisely measure your spindle where the grease seal rides as shown in the included diagram, and measure the inside of the hub where the grease seal rides.
if you can provide these measurements I would be happy to recommend the correct replacement grease seal for you.
