Looking for a trailer hitch for a 1986 Ford F-350 dually diesel club cab 2x4. Will the c15300 hitch work?

It sure will. As long as your truck isn't a cab/chassis mode and doesn't have roll pan bumper, the Curt Class V hitch # C15300 will work great. I've linked to an install video showing the hitch being installed on a newer F250, but the fit would be the same for your truck as what's shown in the video.
