There are many different weight distribution systems on the market and one of the most important factors to consider when choosing a weight distribution system is the tongue weight of your set up. This includes the fully loaded and ready to tow tongue weight of your trailer plus the weight of any cargo that is loaded in the bed of your truck behind the rear axle. You will want to choose a weight distribution system with a tongue weight range that encompasses the fully loaded tongue weight of your set up.
I have attached an FAQ article on how to determine your tongue weight for you to check out. The tongue weight of a trailer is typically 10 to 15 percent of the gross trailer weight.
Since you will be towing a 32 ft trailer that could be approaching the towing capacity of your 2005 Toyota 4Runner, I recommend looking into a system that has integrated sway control like the Reese Steadi-Flex systems. If you find that the tongue weight of your set up will be between 600 lbs and 1,200 lbs, then I recommend looking at the Reese SC System, # RP66560. The Reese Steadi-Flex systems do not come with a hitch ball, so you will want to be sure you pick up a hitch ball with the system. For a 2 inch hitch ball, use # A-90, for a 2-5/16 inch ball, use # 19286.
If you find that your tongue weight does not fall within the 600 lb to 1200 lb range, then let me know what the tongue weight of your setup is and I can give you a more specific recommendation. I have also attached a link to all of our Reese systems for you to check out.
