Question:

I have a 2000 ford f250 2wd. that i want to put a roadmaster steering stabilizer on. there are 2 options i have seen. will the class c for motorhomes fit my truck. if not why? are they to long, spring to big, etc. the part #s if have found are rm-rssp30 and rm-rbk16-rssb. Please let me know if the rssp30 would make my steering effort too much for my f-250. It looks like it is much more stiff than the rbk16. Thanks

While we have a good option for an anti-sway that will help with overall control of your 2000 Ford F-250 2WD, a steering stabilizer won't fit. The reason why isn't that they are too long or big, it's simply that the stabilizer won't physically fit because it installs in place of the steering damper which is there on 4WD options but not your 2WD. So the best option that will help keep your F-250 steady is a rear anti-sway bar, which does fit your 2WD 2000 Ford F-250:

- Roadmaster Rear Anti-Sway Bar # RM-1139-153

This bar is meant to replace a factory anti-sway bar, though if your F-250 does not have one (some don't) you will simply need the End Link Kit for Roadmaster Rear Anti-Sway Bar # RM-590230-00.

The rear anti-sway bar is a fantastic way to improve the drivability of your truck, as they have a high roll stiffness to combat sway, working in parallel with your rear suspension for the greatest improvement in handling. I have added a link below to a video review for you to check out as well.
